Thank you for joining our blog!
This blog was built with the
aim to facilitate the teaching of literature as a subject in lower grades and
make it more fun, relevant and less daunting!
It has been
designed specifically to share ideas and tips on different teaching strategies,
resources and lesson plans based on the Literature section of the English
language syllabus of the 2016 National Curriculum Framework in Mauritius, with
emphasis on the poetry genre.
The advice, ideas, and kindness of my teaching community have shaped me as an educator immeasurably. Hopefully, I can pass a small taste of that but more importantly learn from you too!
